I am so glad I managed to get hold of this AX8 axle when I needed another drum and hub, so now I have a spare drum and a spare hub as well as a rear diff and drive shafts.

The only very dodgy bit of rust on my 1984 S75 Van Big Vern That will need to besorted during his restoration, well the only bit that I know of at the time of writing.

 

I just had to pop this up, it's on my front bumper.

And here you can see the black rubber coated hubseal. Can be a pain getting the correct one. The AX6 axle has the 0038453900 and the AX8/9 has 0038454000 (Renault part numbers).
